  Landed safely in Marrakesch with great hygene and care for COVID safety to be greeted by the most warm welcome of Hassan and Mohammed from Atlas Walkers. Together with... read more their team they managed to create the most fun adventure for us. We went to Sahara where we experienced buggy driving in the sand, camel riding, slept in luxurious private tents, watched sunrise and sunset and all the magical unlimited number of starts at night. In order to suit our needs Hassan booked for us an amazing accomodation in Erg Chebbi where we relaxed in the pool whilst enjoying views of the desert itself...it was truly a unique experience and highly recommended .. far from everyone at this crucial time. From there we moved to Imlil, the sweet Berber village close to the Highest Peak in North Afrika, Mount Toubkal. We stayed at a guest house in this village up in the mountains and really had the guest house all to ourselves. The Berber villagers cooked amazing food for us, Mohammed took care of the trekking and he did an awesome job. Away from everything, away from everyone, it was a time for self relaxation, enjoying nature, eating good food, going for walks and sharing the evenings playing cards and story telling in the cosy living room. Hassan truly succeeded in making us super satisfied as he even organized a cooking class upon a request from a member in our group. All I can say is that we were sceptical to travel anywhere in this crazy time ... but Morocco was definately the most good choice we have taken since Atlas Walkers took such impeccable care for us all, ensuring our safety, tailormade this holiday for our needs and helping us collect amazing memories for the rest of our lives. Thumbs up to Atlas Walkers .. we will definately be back another time to explore a different part of Morocco. Thank you Hassan and your team. Keep up the amazing work and amazing hospitality !!

  Landed in Marrakesh and was served professionally by Atlas Walkers since the moment we landed. Spent 3 days trekking in the Berber Villages and trekking in the Amazing Atlas... read more mountains with magnificent scenery as can be shown in the pics. I never believed i can do this but thanks to Hassan who guided us personally in trekking I did the whole journey. We were impressed when we were served lunch cooked there infront of us by chef Mustafa and Muhammed. We felt like we were treated like vips with a table near the river on the mountains under the trees which protected us from the sunny moments. This was a short trip but Atlas Walkers we promise me and my friends will be back very soon to explore another part of Morocco. Trip ended in Marrakesh and the Atlas Walkers team were with us till the very end. Well done - we never expected this- you really care for your clients

If you happen to be in Morocco and you’ll like mountains I think this is surely worth your time.
My guide Achmed was... read more formidable and the climb to Toubkhal is actually quite relaxed except for a more steeper section towards to top where you have to spend attention.

I did my accent in late October with some well used approach shoes. It was alright but considering the altitude and the amount of snow and ice on top I would urge everyone to have proper hiking- or mountaineering boots with you after the end of September . (Mainly so that you won’t run into issues like the fixation of your crampons and get cold toes)

All in all I really enjoyed my stay on the Refuge and I’m looking forward to visit again one day :).

Hassan was an excellent host. He was very responsive on all of my questions and he made me feel safe and comfortable however i was a girl alone in a foreign country. We started the trek with Siad who was my personal guide and I could not have wished for a better guide. Very supportive, very friendly, very knowledgable. He was respecting my pace and he never put me in danger. We had several stops on the way to refugee and Siad was always preparing me nice and healthy snacks. the second day on our way to the top, he was very very helpful and patient with me because i had to make several stops due to my tiredeness. Not even a moment i felt in danger. we reached the top and then we came back to the village. The taxi brought me back to my hotel. I am super grateful to Hassan and Siad who helped me climbed toubkal mountain because i didnt even believe i was able to do it. I would propose it to every person! thanks a lot guys

  Did a 4 day trek to toubkal. Not the regular route. Started in Imlil hiked to Azib Tamsoult, stayed the night there. Next day summitted Tizi N'Aguelzim and went to... read more refuge toubkal. Summited Toubkal the following day and went back down to the refuge. The next day we hiked to a berber village in Armoud hosted by our guide hassan.

The guides were all very patient with the group, very accomodating at night and took care of every need the group had. They were our guides our luggage handlers our chefs our everything and they did not rest. Last to sleep and first to wake up. Always someone at the front and someone at the back so the group always felt safe. Their knowledge of the area and mountain was clear and their enthusiasm was clear.

The food was amazing throughout. The refuge was to a good standard considering you were sharing with other people.

The night at the village the same guides became entertainers and entertained us to the Amazigh culture.

On the walk down to imlil we stopped at a water fall had a very refreshing shower and then they supplied us with mules to ride at a price.

Excellent trip and definitly a better route than the standard route up toubkal.

  All of the holiday was a great experience but the night in the desert,and the ride with the buggy were fantastic..Marakech is a fantastic city
